I’ve been passionate about photography since my teenage years, starting out with a Pentax K-1000 film camera — which I still own today. Over the years, my focus has grown from landscapes to sports, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing athletes at SA, MSU, and several SEC and non-conference teams across the sports of basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and softball.
While I’m new to high-volume school photography, being a patron of SA makes the work especially meaningful. I genuinely enjoy working with the students, and my goal is to help showcase SA in a positive and authentic way.
Beyond photography, I serve as a professor at Mississippi State University, where I also monitor weather for outdoor events. I regularly consult with the SEC and NCAA on weather safety protocols and serve as the State Climatologist for Mississippi.
Of all my roles, though, the ones I value most are: Believer; Dad; and Husband.
